We received the following feature request:
Hello, I wanted to ask if it will be possible to fill in Excel files in the future or if there is another possibility.
I have only found this for Word: Mail Merge Word Document with Microsoft Forms Response (encodian.com)
It is a timely question because we just released the Populate Excel action on our side. It is being reviewed and deployed by Microsoft which may take a few weeks. We will create more documentation around the template syntax and this action in due course.
As an FYI, we now offer a full document generation suite as we already have Populate PowerPoint and Populate Word Document
