Which terms have been updated?

We've updated our Terms of Service for the following products:  

Encodian Online Products

If you use Encodian Online Products, you can view the updated Terms of Service here:

When do the updated terms apply? 

  • New customers: The updated terms apply immediately to new customers who sign up on or after 12 January 2026.
  • Existing customers: The updated terms will take effect on 12 February 2026.

What if I don’t agree to the updated terms? 

If you don't agree to the updated terms, you'll need to stop using the Encodian product and close your Encodian account before the effective date. 

You can request account closure in one of the following ways: 

If you continue using Encodian products after the effective date, your use will be subject to the updated terms. 

Do I need to take action to accept the updated terms? 

No action is required. Continued use of Encodian products after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

What about the changes to the Data Processing Agreement?

We've also updated our Data Processing Agreement. These changes took effect on 24th September 2025. You can view the current version here: Data Processing Agreement and Technical and Organisational Measures – Encodian Customer Help 

Why did I receive this notice? 

When we update our Terms of Service, we’re legally required to notify all affected customers. This includes customers who have unsubscribed from marketing communications. Legal notices cannot be unsubscribed from.
