It would be useful if the PDF - Merge Files action included an option to remove or reset existing page labels from the source PDFs during the merge process.
At the moment, when PDFs with existing page labels are merged, those labels can be carried into the final merged PDF. This can cause confusing page numbering in PDF viewers, especially when combining documents that each have their own custom page labels or numbering schemes.
A setting such as “Remove existing page labels” or “Reset page labels after merge” would allow the merged PDF to use standard sequential page numbering, making the final document easier to navigate and more consistent.
