I would like to request the addition of PGP decryption support to the existing “Utility – RSA Decryption” connector. While RSA decryption is useful for specific key-based workflows, it does not cover a large and common set of real-world encryption scenarios where PGP is the standard.
PGP is widely used for secure data exchange between organizations, particularly in automated integrations involving files transferred over email, SFTP, or third-party platforms. Many vendors, financial institutions, and government bodies distribute sensitive data using PGP encryption rather than raw RSA, meaning users currently need external tools or custom scripts to decrypt this data before it can be processed in Power Automate or Logic Apps.
Adding PGP decryption would allow users to keep sensitive data entirely within the Microsoft automation ecosystem, reducing complexity, operational overhead, and security risk introduced by external decryption steps. It would also align naturally with the existing RSA decryption utility, as PGP internally relies on public-key cryptography while adding support for key management, passphrases, and hybrid encryption, which are essential in modern secure file exchange.
This feature would significantly expand the connector’s applicability for enterprise integration scenarios, particularly for customers handling regulated or confidential data who require standardized, auditable, and vendor-agnostic encryption methods. Supporting PGP decryption would make the utility more complete, future-proof, and aligned with common industry practices for secure data exchange.
I believe this enhancement would provide substantial value to Encodian users who rely on automated workflows to process encrypted files at scale while maintaining strong security and compliance standards.
