Templater - M365 Installation

Before you begin

Download the latest Encodian Templater manifest.xml for MS Word

An installation of the Encodian Templater add-in through the M365 administration centre will allow you to target the add-in at users within your organisation without the need for them to individually install it locally onto their own desktops.

  1. Log on to the Microsoft Office Admin Centre as an Administrator.
  2. Select 'Show All' followed by 'Settings', then 'Integrated Apps'.
  3. Select 'Upload custom apps'.
  4. Select 'Office Add-in' from the 'App type' dropdown, then select 'Upload manifest file (.xml) from device', navigate to the location where the manifest file was downloaded, and select 'Open' followed by 'Next'.

  5. Select the users that you wish to deploy the add-in to, followed by 'Next'.

  6. Review the deployment configuration, then select 'Finish Deployment'.

  7. The add-in will now be deployed to the targeted users
