Credit Count

The credit count differs depending on the selected 'OCR Type'.

Where OCR Type = 'None'

Each image is 0.2 credits; for example, a single PNG converted to PDF is 0.2 credits.

Each additional page is 0.1 credits; for example, a 9-page TIFF converted to PDF is 1 credit (0.2 + (8 * 0.1)) = 1.

Where OCR Type = 'AI'

Each image or image page (TIFF) is 0.2 credits; for example, a single PNG converted to PDF is 0.2 credits, whereas a 9-page TIFF converted to PDF is 1.8 credits.

Where OCR Type = 'Standard'

Standard OCR is a resource-intensive operation; therefore, a credit is used for every image or image page OCR'd. For example, a single PNG converted to PDF is 1 credit, where a 9-page TIFF converted to PDF is 9 credits.

Note, different Encodian actions can consume different numbers of credits. Please always check the action-specific documentation and read What are Encodian Actions and Credits for a full description of how credits are consumed.
