AI - Translate Text (Multiple)

Overview

The 'AI - Translate Text (Multiple)' Power Automate action will translate the text value provided into the selected languages.

Credit Count

The credit count is determined using the following calculation:

75 characters = 0.05 credits

For example:

452 Characters = 0.35 Credits

8956 Characters = 6.00 Credits

565 Characters = 0.40 Credits

21548 Characters = 14.40 Credits

Default Parameters

The default 'AI - Translate Text (Multiple)' flow action parameters are detailed below:

  • Text: The text to translate
  • Source Language: The language of the source text, select 'AUTO' to automatically detect
  • Target Languages: The languages to convert the source 'Text' value to

Advanced Parameters

The advanced 'AI - Translate Text (Multiple)' flow action parameters are detailed below:

  • Format: Set the format of the 'Text' value
  • Profanity Action: Define how to handle profanity detected within the 'Text' value
  • Profanity Replace: Set the value used to replace profanity detected within the 'Text' value. This setting only applies when the 'Profanity Action' is set to 'Replace'

Return Parameters

The 'Text - Translate (Multiple)' flow action returns the following data. 

Action Specific Return Values

  • Translations - The translated text as JSON

The 'Translations' property contains each translation within a JSON object. Use the Power Automate 'Parse JSON' action to obtain each language as a dynamic value.

Standard Return Values

  • OperationId - The unique ID assigned to this operation.
  • HttpStatusCode - The HTTP Status code for the response.
  • HttpStatusMessage - The HTTP Status message for the response.
  • Errors - An array of error messages should an error occur.
  • Operation Status - Indicates whether the operation has been completed, has been queued or has failed.

Requests sent to the 'AI - Translate Text (Multiple)' action will be processed within the following Azure regions:

Error Handling - 'The translation request has been throttled'

Potentially at times of peak load the following error could be generated:

"The translation request has been throttled, please contact support@encodian.com"

This will result in delayed processing execution. For paying customers who have a 'Large' or higher subscription level, a dedicated processing endpoint can be requests via support@encodian.com which will help to alleviate this issue.
